Llyn Gwyn Fishing Report.
What a great month at Llyngwyn. 150 anglers were recorded netting 400 fish. No large fish were recorded but many in the 3lb region were caught. It was nice to see that many fish were returned to the water. John Henderson of Rhayader netted 9 fish for 20lbs but all were returned.
Once again the favorite flies proved best. The Damsel, Montanas, Buzzers, Hoppers and Daddy's on dry lines.
Llyngwyn continues to be stocked every two weeks and winter season tickets are now available from 18th October lasting until 19th March. You can purchase these from Powell's Newsagents or Hafod Hardware in Rhayader. Some say the lake fishes better in the winter than the summer.
River permits are also available for Grayling.
